What is it with men?
Society tells us that Women are needy and clingy and complicated and confusing. You're joking, right?
This is what Men tell us we are. But behind closed doors, they are secretly vomiting out their lives to us, entrusting us with their deepest secrets, worries and desires. They lure us in like a barbed fish until we falter and let down our protective guard...and then it comes:
"I'm sorry but I've been thinking. I don't think I'm ready for a relationship."
Now I'm sorry, but when they say things like "Why am I hanging on your every word", "I can't believe it, I feel like I have known you for years but I've only just met you" or "I think I'm falling for you" you would think that what they are saying is "I quite like you and I'd like to give things a go".
But no.
Don't be fooled...when he tells you this is 'terrifying but so exciting', hear the alarm bells. They are not butterflies you have, they are huge great big chaotic alarm bells - so many of them that they are queued up all the way down from your head to the pit of your stomach. Don't ignore them, these physical signs are there for a reason.
And you know what they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
CORRECTION: It definitely is.
